Chevrolet plays an Active Role in Helping Flood Victims
Heavy rain continued in Kuantan resulted in the number of flood evacuees reached a total of more than 38,000 people. Naza Quest recently deported two units of its pick-up truck, Colorado and one unit of 4×4 vehicle, Captiva to help the rescue team. Prime Minister, YAB Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak flagged off the vehicles at Putra World Trade Centre on Friday, 6 December 2013, witnessed by some ministers and government officials. This initiative formed part of Chevrolet’s commitment and contribution to ease off the burden of the victims due to various obstacles including power supply disruptions and communication difficulties.
Chevrolet Malaysia together with other companies within the Naza World have also started their CSR initiatives by getting their staff to donate old clothes, blankets, sweaters, etc. and hopefully we are able to reach out and spread our love to our fellow Malaysians that we do care.
